Water Source

TriRiver Water's customers are fortunate because we enjoy an abundant water supply. Our Sanford location sits in close proximity to the headwaters of the Cape Fear River, formed from the convergence of the Deep, Haw, and Rocky Rivers.

In addition, recent mergers have diversified our water intake capabilities. With filtration facilities now located on the Rocky River, Haw River, and Jordan Lake, TriRiver Water is better positioned than ever to provide customers steady and reliable access to clean drinking water.

Regional Supplier

The Water Filtration Facilities are regional suppliers of drinking water. The treatment capacity is twelve million gallons per day, averaging seven million gallons per day. The treatment facility produces over two billion gallons of clean drinking water every year delivered directly to you, our customers.
