What is TriRiver Water's Meter Reading Process?

TriRiver Water's system includes both traditional analog meters that are read manually and automated meters that are read electronically via radio signals.

For the manual reads, TriRiver Water requires the meter reader to verify the customer's' name and address, meter number, route, sequence number, and meter status. The meter reader manually keys in the reading (without access to previous reads). This process is designed to reduce errors in the reading.

Electronic reads are done via remote, hand-held devices that rely on radio signals. For automated meters, the meter reader does not need to physically access the meter.
