Work is underway to locate and repair leaks and defects in more than 26,000 linear feet of sewer infrastructure in Pittsboro.
Atlantic Coast Contractors is using video cameras to inspect the sewer mains, manholes, catch basins, grease traps, and more in the Robeson Creek Basin. If and when the inspectors find any problems, they will fix them.
This proactive process helps maintain the quality and functionality of the sewer. Investments like this ensure the long-term health of your sewer system by catching smaller issues before they turn into more significant concerns.
Crews expect to be finding and fixing the sewers in the Robeson Creek Basin throughout this year. The crews will use minimally invasive techniques to complete their work, meaning it's unlikely you'll notice any major disruptions. But if you do come across any issues or have any questions call 919-775-8215.
This Find It – Fix It Sewer Rehabilitation Project was made possible through a multimillion-dollar grant provided by the State of North Carolina’s American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 allocation.
