Grace period ending for TriRiver Water customers in Chatham Co., Siler City

Water service cutoffs will resume in November for delinquent accounts in Chatham County and Siler City.

New TriRiver Water customers in those areas should immediately make sure that their accounts are up-to-date and in good standing.

TriRiver Water has not enforced service shutoffs or charged late fees since incorporating customers from Chatham County and Siler City. This was done to help ease the transition and avoid any cutoffs due to confusion or technical problems.

The merger happened in July. All customers have now had multiple billing cycles to set up their accounts and figure out TriRiver Water payment procedures. If you still have any questions or concerns, please call our customer service team at 919-775-8215 or visit one of our three customer service centers.

For Siler City, late fees will begin October 16. The first cutoffs will happen November 6.

For Chatham County, late fees will begin October 27. The first cutoffs will happen November 17.

TriRiver Water will attempt to contact customers with delinquent accounts multiple times before carrying out a service cutoff.
